In 1999, on completing a master degree in International Economics and Politics at Warsaw School of Economics, she joined TMF Poland, the multinational accounting, HR and payroll services provider. She dealt with clients from various industries ranging from trading , and service suppliers to food producers. From 2004 to 2007 she worked as an Accounting Manager.
In 2007 she was appointed by Celtic Assets Management and then to Celtic Property Development with properties in Poland, Hungary, and Montenegro, and providing property management services in UK and Italy. Her role was to build and manage the accounting team, acting as the Group Financial Controller and the Head of the accounting department. She dealt with several restructuring projects, including cross-border mergers and the listing of the company on the Frankfurt and later Polish stock exchanges.
Between 2012 and 2013 she set up and managed JSG Corporate Services – providing accounting, IFRS and Polish GAAP reporting, consolidation of the financial statements and accounting services. She has spent her professional career mainly responsible for accounting, financial controlling in companies and capital groups, including entities listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange, operating in various industries and reporting in Polish, international, and specific group accounting standards. She has a wealth of experience in IFRS, accounting software implementation, consolidation of the financial statements, cash management, liquidations, and in dealing with financial institutions.
Privately Joanna is passionate about travelling and volleyball. In spare time she supports the home city and national volleyball teams, studies Portugal and plans the voyages.
